CANYON, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team lost a Lone Star Conference match to #13 West Texas A&M 25-18, 25-17, 25-15 at The Box Saturday afternoon.

First Set Highlights
- The Lady Buffs (17-4, 9-1 LSC) established an early advantage with a 3-1 lead, capitalizing on a block by Kaycee Cavanaugh.  
- After a close exchange of points, WT's Currie Marusak and Bromli Watson combined for consecutive kills to go ahead 8-6.  
- A service ace from Marusak extended their lead to 10-7.  
- The home side closed the set at 25-18, thanks to a service ace by Taytum Stow.

Second Set Highlights
- The Comets (5-16, 2-8 LSC) took an early 2-0 lead, capitalizing on an error and a kill by Abby Gentner.  
- WT responded with a strong mid-set performance, taking a 7-0 run highlighted by multiple kills from Watson, to move ahead 16-8.  
- The Lady Buffs secured the set 25-17, leading the match.

Third Set Highlights
- WT opened with a kill from Parker Gladhill, setting the tone early.  
- The home team executed 7-0 run to extend their lead to 11-5.  
- UTD  attempted to close the gap with kills from Laura See and Jane Burkhardt, but WT maintained their lead to finish the set 25-15.

The Lady Buffs had a .360 hitting percentage with 42 kills, three aces, five blocks and 35 digs.
