SAN ANGELO, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team suffered its first scoreless outing of the season, falling to Angelo State 2-0 at the LeGrand Soccer Complex on Wednesday.
Despite the loss, the Comets (11-3-2, 8-3-1 Lone Star Conference) are in second place with two matches remaining.
First Half Highlights
- The Rambelles (9-3-3, 8-2-2 LSC) offense pressed early with a series of shots, but goalkeeper
McKenzie Hunninghake made key saves at 3:03, 3:38, and 3:47 to keep the score level.
- Sanai Stewart broke through for ASUÂ in the 43rd minute, scoring with an assist from Abby James to give the home team a 1-0 lead.
- UTD had opportunities from corner kicks but could not convert, ending the half trailing 1-0.
