UTD and DBU Tie 1-1 in Metroplex Battle

DALLAS - UT Dallas and DBU played to a 1-1 draw at Patriot Soccer Field in Lone Star Conference men's soccer action Wednesday night.

First Half Highlights
- Just 2:28 into the game, Evan Pustejovsky found junior Kingsley Annan, who ripped a shot from the top of the box into the lower right corner, putting the Comets (5-3-2, 1-0-1 LSC) up early.
- The Patriots (4-4-2, 1-2-1 LSC) responded in the 21st minute when Gavyn Rosales converted a penalty kick to level the score.  
- UTD maintained offensive pressure with multiple shots, including a saved attempt by Jordan Jones in the 22nd minute.  
- The Comets pressured the Patriots, but Patrick Banich's goalkeeping helped keep the score tied through the end of the first half, 1-1.

Second Half Highlights
- UTD started with a corner kick, leading to an early shot by Ryan Anderson that went out right.  
- Carson Burden attempted another shot for UTD in the 62nd minute, missing out top.  
- Osi Iyamah's shot in the 80th minute was saved by Banich, maintaining the scoreline.
