RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team lost 4-1 to #3 DBU at the UTD Soccer Field Wednesday night.

First Half Highlights
- Senior Gabby Thompson opened the scoring for the Comets (7-2-1, 4-2 Lone Star) in the 11th minute when she dribbled from left to right past a pair of defenders and blasted the ball from the top of the box into the lower right corner.
- The Patriots (11-0, 7-0 LSC) leveled the score at 1-1 in the 18th minute with a goal by Anne Louthan, assisted by Parker Coe.
- DBU pressured with multiple corner kicks and shots, but goalkeeper McKenzie Hunninghake made several key saves, including a notable stop in the 38th minute on a shot by McKenna Vela.

Second Half Highlights
- DBU's offensive pressure intensified, resulting in three consecutive corner kicks between the 55th and 59th minutes.
- Louthan scored again in the 62nd minute, assisted by Angelina Olmos.
- Louthan struck again in the 75th minute, once more with Olmos providing the assist, increasing DBU's advantage to 3-1.
- Louthan completed her haul in the 82nd minute for the 4-1 score.
- UTD had late attempts, including Chelsea Vilca's shot in the final minute, but it was saved by Samantha Jones.
