RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team opened the 2025 spring season with a 5-0 victory against St. Thomas (Texas) at the UTD Tennis Courts on Sunday.

The Comets (1-0) took the doubles point easily, led by junior Benjamin Dubois and graduate student Travis Rafferty defeating Steven Kuang and Raja Pandya 6-1 in the top spot.

Giritharan D and Eddy Shteyn topped Wilson Salazer and Pooya Tork 6-2 at number two and Snehin Yerragudi and Harshom Gupta defeated Sawyer White and Hunter Kemball-Cook 6-2 in the third position.

Dubois won at number four singles over white with a 6-0, 6-0 clean sweep. Yerragudi defeated Tork 6-1, 6-1 at number three and D was a 6-0, 7-5 victory against Pandya in the second flight. Rafferty won over Kuang 6-4, 6-1 in the top battle.

UTD will play Texas Wesleyan in Arlington on Saturday at 2 p.m.
