WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team wrapped up its week in Wichita Falls with a 7-0 loss to #11 Midwestern State at the MSU Tennis Center Thursday afternoon.
The host Mustangs (8-2) started by taking all three doubles battles for the first point.
Snehin Yerragudi and
Harshom Gupta lost to Juan David Duque and Killian Guillou 6-2 at the third spot.
The Comets (2-5) dropped all six singles matches against Lone Star Conference powerhouse. Junior
Benjamin Dubois took Philip Kamara to a tiebreaker in the first set at number three before MSU came out on top 7-6 (7-4), 6-3. Stephen Slocombe defeated Yerragdui 6-0, 7-5 in the second spot.
The Mustangs featured the 31st-ranked doubles team in Division II and the 24th and 31st-ranked singles player.
UTD will travel to Florida over Spring Break and play at #17 Saint Leo at 12 p.m. CT Monday.Â
