RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team swept Mary Hardin-Baylor 7-0 at the UTD Tennis Courts Sunday evening.
The Comets (4-9) won all three doubles matches for the first point.
Travis Rafferty and
Benjamin Dubois topped Nicolas Cusano and Joaquim Fernandes 6-2 at number one.
Giritharan D and
Eddy Shteyn improved to 7-5 on the season with a 6-2 win over Fernando Andrade and Marcus Diaz Torres.
Harshom Gupta and
Matheus de Freitas Zanellato were a 6-3 victor against Eli Sam and Barret Scott to move to 2-0 this season.
The Cru (6-9) dropped all six singles skirmishes. Rafferty won over Fernandes 6-0, 6-4 at one and D was a 6-3, 6-1 winner against Sam in the second spot.
Snehin Yerragudi squeaked out a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (12-10) decision over Diaz Torres in the third flight. Dubois improved to 8-5 on the season with a win at four. Shteyn and Zanellato each won at five and six, respectively.
UTD will face Tyler Junior College at home at 2 p.m. Friday and Howard Payne at 2 p.m. Saturday.
