RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team lost 4-3 to Mary Hardin-Baylor at the UTD Tennis Courts Sunday evening.

The Comets (3-7) won the doubles point by taking two of the three matchups. Megan Zeng and Reika Nagai defeated Jolin Ha and Bailee Lane 6-3 at the top spot. Chloe O'Connor and Kendall Curley teamed up at number three to down Zoe Male and Kaylee Jo Alexander 6-4.

The Cru (7-7) won four of the six singles battles to earn the victory. Each of the top five flights went to a third-set tiebreaker.

Zeng picked up a win for UTD at number two, topping Lori Bryan 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6). Jhastine Red Ballado defeated Emily Higgs in the sixth spot, 7-5, 6-1.

With Zeng's two victories, she moves into a tie for fourth place in career doubles wins with 39 and a tie for eighth with 29 singles triumphs.

UTD will host Tyler Junior College in an exhibition at 2 p.m. Friday and Howard Payne at 2 p.m. Saturday.
