RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team was defeated by #38 Ouachita Baptist 6-0 at the UTD Tennis Courts Friday afternoon.
The Tigers (6-1) took all six singles points from the Comets (0-4). However, two of the match-ups came down to a third set.
Senior
Benjamin Dubois won the first set before losing to Yarin Aebi 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-3 at number two. At number three OBU's Moritz Buss defeated senior
Eddy Shteyn 2-6, 6-1, 6-1.Â
Freshman
Eduardo Pastor battled Tinus Mueller close at number six, before dropping a 6-4, 7-5 decision.
The Comets will play Southwest Baptist at 10 a.m. Sunday, followed by Hawaii Pacific at 3:30 p.m.
