LAWTON, Okla. - The UT Dallas baseball team won its third consecutive game and second of the day against Cameron with a 10-3, seven-inning victory at McCord Field Sunday night.
The Comets (14-7 Lone Star Conference) went up 4-0 in the first after a two-run double from right fielder
Trent McCown and a two-run base hit from left fielder
Chris Benavidez.Â
Kole Kinnison drove in a pair of runs with a double down the right field line to make the game 6-0 in the second. Kinnison walked with the bases loaded and McCown hit a sacrifice fly, plating
Albert Garza in the third for an 8-0 advantage. UTD's final two runs came in fourth on a
Jake Amoroso RBI-single and a wild pitch that scored
Todd Baffa.
The Aggies (7-13 LSC) scored three in the top of the fifth after a two-run single from Zane Roos and an RBI-base hit by Boux Delong.
UTD outhit CU 8-5 and outdrew the hosts 11-6 in walks. The Comets also stole five bases.

David Dean (2-0) picked up the win, throwing four scoreless innings. He allowed one hit, one walk and struck out two.
- Senior
Kasey Klyng threw the last two innings and tied a career high of five strikeouts, allowing just one hit.Â
- Garza drew a walk, scored twice and stole three bases.
- Amoroso walked three times, scored twice, recorded a hit, RBI and a steal.
- Kinnison knocked in three runs on two hits, including a double.
- Benavidez had two hits, two RBI and a walk.
Cameron Performances
- Starter Parker Jensen (1-1) took the loss, allowing five runs.
- Wyatt Cunningham and Jackson Harrell each recorded a double.
- Roos knocked in two of the three runs.
