RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas softball team played its final non-conference games of the year, falling to Southeastern Oklahoma State 10-2 and 11-2, both in five innings, at the UTD Softball Field on Wednesday.
Game One Highlights
- The Savage Storm (18-21) outhit the Comets (10-22) 11-1 in the opener.
- SOSUÂ scored four runs on three doubles and a pair of walks in the second inning.
- With two outs in the bottom of the second, a pitch hit
Avery Martin, then
Cadence Hernandez followed with a home run over the left field fence to make the game 4-2.
- The Savage Storm scored three more runs in the third to make it 7-2.
- The final runs came in the top of the fourth on a hit, a hit batter, a walk and an error.
UT Dallas in Game One
- Hernandez' home run was the fourth of the season and 11th in her career. She moves into a tie for 10th on the Comet career home-run list.
- Hernandez,
Angela Hamilton and
Blair Collier all drew walks.

Savannah Vanderpool struck out four in three innings or relief.
Southeastern Oklahoma State in Game One
- Emily Simmons (7-6) struck out three batters, allowed three walks, two runs and a hit over five innings.
- First baseman Iliana Olivares went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a double.
- India McMurray walked twice and scored twice.
- Keegan Rowland was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two runs batted in.
Game Two Highlights
- Southeastern outhit UTD 9-2 and took advantage of four errors.
- A Tally Rowland grand slam put the Savage Storm up 4-0 in the first.

Rachel Wallace was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the first. She reached second on a
Claire Pollack sacrifice bunt and moved to third on a
Julia Maniscalco double.

Brooke Bouldin followed with a ground ball, plating Wallace.
- SOSUÂ scored seven runs in the second, including a two-run homers from Rowland and McMurray.
- Freshman center fielder
McKenna Holm hit a solo shot down the left field line in the bottom of the fifth.
Comets in Game Two
- Holm's home run was her second of the season. She also stole a base and drew a walk.
- Maniscalco hit her team-leading 15th double of the year.
- Bouldin drew a walk.

Allison Koch (2-4) started and took the loss.
- Vanderpool threw three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and a walk with three strikeouts.
Savage Storm in Game Two
- Alyson Malone (6-6) fanned five batters and allowed two hits, two runs and two walks in five innings.
- Rowland hit two home runs and drove in six runs.
- McMurray recorded her 13th home run of the year.
- Catcher Laci Larsen hit a double.
