RICHARDSON, Texas - Three UT Dallas student-athletes were named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and compete in 50 percent of matches.

Senior Benjamin Dubois, junior Ben Barnet and senior Matheus de Freitas Zanellato were selected to the team.

Dubois, a Psychology major from Bromont, Quebec, earned Academic All-District for the third time in his career. He also served as the president of the UTD chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Dubois led the Comets with six singles wins and four doubles victories this season. He completed his career with 26 singles wins, tying for eighth in program history.

Barnet, a Computer Information Systems And Technology from Sherman, Texas, was a Chi Alpha Sigma inductee this season. He competed at number six singles and number three doubles.

Zanellato, a Computer Science major from Ponta Grossa, Brazil, was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma and made the Fall LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll this year. He teamed with Dubois at number one doubles, with four victories. He also played number four singles.
