TYLER, Texas -  The UT Dallas men's tennis doubles team of Jose Perez Castillo and Antoni Pankowski lost in the ITA South Central Regional Finals on Sunday, but qualified for the inaugural ITA Division II Singles & Doubles Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala. November 4-8. 

The fourth-seeded duo fell to #3 Bruno Sanchez and Filip Vaula from Midwestern State 6-3, 6-2.

Perez Castillo, from Magnolia Texas, and Pankowski, from Dziwiszów, Poland, won three straight matches to reach the finals.
