HONOLULU - The UT Dallas women's soccer team picked up its second shutout in Hawaii by defeating Chaminade 3-0 at Saint Louis Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (2-0) outshot the Silverswords (0-2) 13-6 overall and 10-2 on goal. UTD also led in corner kicks 13-1, with Chaminade committing more fouls, 12-8.
The Comets went up 1-0 in the eighth minute after an own goal on a corner kick.
Senior forward
Gabby Thompson connected on a penalty kick in the 54th minute to give UTD a 2-0 advantage. The final score came in the 83rd minute when

Kaley Robison, who scored from the center of box.

- Thompson's goal was her third in two games.
- Robison netted her third career goal as a Comet.
- Chavez' assist was the 10th of her career. She now has a four-game point streak, dating back to last season.
