RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas third-year Brooke Yount was selected as the Lone Star Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday. 

Yount, from League City, Texas, led the Comets to a fourth-place finish at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz. She tied for sixth while shooting a 72-74=146 (+2). She helped UTD fire a 290 in the opening round, the second-best team round in program history.

The Comets will compete again at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational in Amarillo on September 28.
