RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team gave up a late goal in a 1-0 home loss to Midwestern State at UTD Soccer Field Saturday evening.
In a match featuring two of the Lone Star Conference's top defenses, the Mustangs (8-0, 4-0 LSC) scored with 5:30 remaining when Lexi Gonzales found the bottom left corner on a pass from McKynzi Hailey.
The Comets (5-2-1, 1-2-1 LSC) only shot on goal came with 2:59 left on an
Ella Spiller free kick.
MSU outshot UTD 12-7 overall and 4-1 on goal. The Mustangs led 3-2 in corner kicks and 13-8 in fouls.
