HILO, Hawaii - The UT Dallas men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2026 season, falling to Hawai'i-Hilo 1-0 at Vulcan Soccer Field Wednesday afternoon.
The host Vulcans (3-0) took advantage of a foul in the box in the 21st minute when Keita Goto converted a penalty kick for the only goal of the game.
The only other shot on goal during the contest came from the Comets' (1-1-1)
Avery Brazzell in the 55th minute.
UTD outshot UHH 8-2 overall and led in corner kicks 8-0. The Vulcans committed more fouls, 15-5.
