STILLWATER, Okla. - The UT Dallas cross country teams competed against elite programs at the Cowboy Jamboree on the Greiner Family Oklahoma State Cross Country Course Saturday morning.

The women finished 17th place and the men were 18th in a field that featured several nationally ranked NCAA Division I squads.

First-year runner Marianna Salazar paced the Comet women with a 6K time of 23:50.7. She placed 118th and recorded the 22nd-fastest time in program history. Lili-Mai Pigeon was next in 24:05.9, followed by Bharvi Varu in 24:40.0. Ellie Suo-Anttila ran a personal-best 25:02.4. Anna Dinaso rounded out the scoring with a time of 27:28.5.

Alex Bozhilov was the top performer for the men, placing 107th in 26:13.8 on the 8K run. Anthony Stuart finished in 26:59.7 and Jonathan Marsh completed the course in 27:17.8. Dev Kumar was next in 27:49.7 and Frank Douglas posted a time of 27:51.5

The Comets will be off until Saturday, October 17 at the Old Glory Gallop in Fort Worth.
