ODESSA, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team earned a 2-1 win over UT Permian Basin at the UTPB Soccer Field in a Lone Star Conference game on Saturday.
With the win, the Comets (7-2-1, 3-2-1 LSC) improve to 6-1 on the road.
Forward
Gabby Thompson gave UTD a 1-0 advantage in 24th minute with a goal assisted by
Jules Chavez. The Falcons (4-5, 1-5 LSC) tied it up in the 36th minute when Kally Calcaterra's pass connected with Cassandra Ramirez.
Kaley Robison gave UTD the victory with an unassisted goal int he 53rd.
UTD outshot UTPB 21-5 overall and 8-5 on goal. They also led 8-0 in corner kicks and 8-7 in fouls.
UT Dallas Notes
- Thompson's goal was her team-leading sixth of the year and 18th of her career.
- Chavez now has three assists this season and 12 in her career.
- Robison's goal was her second of the year and second career game-winner.
