HONOLULU - The UT Dallas men's soccer team finished off a three-game trip to Hawaii on Sunday with a 2-0 victory against Chaminade at Saint Louis Field.
It was the first shutout of the season for the Comets (3-1-1), who outshot the Silverswords (0-3) 9-5 overall and 4-3 on goal.
After a scoreless first half, Ossian Elgström headed in a corner kick by
Jordan Jones in the 61st minute to put UTD on the board.
The final goal of the game came when
Osi Iyamah tapped in a shot from 10 yards out after a cross from
Evan Pustejovsky.
UTD led in corner kick chances, 5-3, and Chaminade committed more fouls, 16-14.
