Jay DeCoste quickly became a staple in Brian Whitt's UT Dallas men's tennis program in 2008, and since then has amassed 17 singles wins. The younger brother of longtime UTD tennis standout Derek DeCoste, Jay, who wrapped up his third and final season in 2010, experienced doubles success with teammate Eric DeBusschere as the Comets posted a 3-9 overall record.

2010: Was 4-7 in singles play, but, together with DeBusschere, garnered a 4-3 record in doubles...was 0-4 when playing with Clint Laukhuf.

2009: Won five of 12 singles matches as a sophomore.

2008: As a freshman, corralled eight singles wins (8-3) en route to earning an All-American Southwest Conference Honorable Mention nod...also a member of the ASC All-Academic Team.
