HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity softball at Connally HS in Waco, where she earned honorable mention or second-team All-District honors all four years. Was the valedictorian of her graduating class and earned an Academic Excellence Scholarship from both UTD and the U.S. Marine Corps. Was a member of the National Honor Society and competed on the high school computer science team at UIL competition.
