Eric DeBusschere notched 10 combined wins in 2010, his final year with the UT Dallas men's tennis team. He began the season as UTD's No. 3 singles player, but rose to the No. 1 peg for the Comets' final four matches.

DeBusschere, the program's top athlete as a freshman (2008), is a former American Southwest Conference East Division Newcomer of the Year, not to mention an All-ASC First Team selection.

2010: Had an identical record of 5-6 in both singles and doubles matches...was 1-3 playing in the No. 1 singles slot...turned in a 4-3 doubles mark with the help of teammate Jay DeCoste.

2009: Moved down to the No. 2 singles position, finishing the season above .500.

2008: Earned a 12-3 singles record, securing UTD's top spot...named ASC East Division Newcomer of the Year, as well as an All-ASC First Team member...gained ASC All-Academic honors.
