Curtis Davis, a transfer from McMurry University (Abilene, TX), stepped into the spotlight in 2009-10 after starter Brandon Greene suffered a season-ending hand injury.

Davis was UT Dallas' top scorer in four games -- including the Comets' Sweet Sixteen loss to UW-Stevens Point, where Davis dropped in a career-best 27 points against the No. 5 Pointers. He was the team's fourth-leading scorer (11.2 ppg) and, as one of the most gifted athletes on UTD's roster, will seek to improve on his sterling UTD debut next year.

2009-10: Averaged 11.2 points and 4.4 rebounds, starting in 21 of the Comets' 30 games...scored at least 18 points in six games...averaged 20.5 points during the Comets' San Antonio-area road trip to Texas Lutheran and Schreiner (Jan. 7-9)...lit up then-ranked Mississippi College for 22 points in a Jan. 30 win.

2008-09: DNP

2007-08: Named to ASC West Division All-Freshman Team…averaged 7.3 points while shooting 73.2 percent from the charity stripe.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-region and all-state selection (5A) while playing for Santa Fe HS…team reached 5A state semifinals his last three years of HS…Ran track in HS.
