Drew Hallford became an instant mainstay in left field for UT Dallas, starting in 34 of the Comets' 39 games in 2010. A transfer from North Lake College, Hallford teed off on five home runs, looped 12 doubles and recorded a team-best 31 RBIs.

While at NLC, he was selected as an All-Metro Athletic Conference selection in both 2008 and 2009, and was chosen as a 2009 Preseason All-American Utility Player.

2010: Batted .387 in 34 starts...rocketed five home runs and belted a team-best 12 doubles...tied Randy Lorber for a team-high 31 RBIs, and was walked more times (28) than any other Comet...went 4-for-6 and blasted two home runs in a 28-12 win over the Ozarks on March 12.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity baseball for Mansfield Summit HS (Arlington, TX), where he was voted Team MVP following the 2006 season...was a First Team All-District catcher back in 2006.
