University of Texas at Dallas Athletics

Daniel Ludwig is back to lead the team after a remarkable freshman season with the UTD team.  Ran UTD's top times in the 6K last year, posting a 19:46.35 at the Midwestern University meet, and ran a 27.47 in the 8K race at the HSU Invitational. He placed 14th individually at the American Southwest Conference meet.

Ludwig was his high school MVP three straight years, finishing 10th in the Florida State Meet to earn All-State honors. First team All-County and second-team All-Central Florida in high school, he was named the school's Athlete of the Year. Also played high school tennis.

Also ranked nationally in chess and is one of the more promising members of the nationally-ranked UTD Chess Team. Attending UTD on an Academic Distinction Scholarship.
