Biography

Jorge Bermeo was the Comets' top runner as a freshman in 2005 and is back for his fourth season after taking a season off in 2006.  Ran a  season-best 27:09 as a freshman, and won ASC Runner of the Week honors. Was injured and finished further back in the pack at the 2005 ASC Meet. After spending his sophomore year at UT-Arlington, he returned to UTD in 2007 and eventually brought his time down to 29:13.86 at the ASC Meet, finishing 23rd.
