Former Comet standout Ryan Kropp joined the UT Dallas golf coaching staff as a graduate assistant in August 2022.

Kropp was a two-time All-Region selection by the Golf Coaches Association of America and a two-time First Team All-American Southwest Conference pick. He broke the single-season scoring average school record in 2020-21 with an average of 73.77. 

He was a two-time ASC Golfer of the Week and was a two-time member of the ASC Men's Golf Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team. Kropp was the runner-up at the 2021 ASC Championship Tournament. 

Kropp was a member of the state champion Brighton High School in Colorado, finishing among the top 20 at state as senior. He was also a two-time Academic All-State selection for the Bulldogs.

He graduated from UTD with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working on his Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Management.
