Charles Griffith, a shifty point guard, played two seasons at Midland College (Midland, TX) before transferring to UT Dallas. He helped lead the Chapparals to two consecutive WCJAC championships.

In 2009-10, with junior status, Griffith served as Jared Fleming's back-up and appeared in 10 games.

“He’s a kid who has been around great competition,” said UTD coach Terry Butterfield. “He’s quick, can run past you, and can really harass you defensively.”

2009-10: Averaged 7.7 minutes of playing time in 10 games for the Comets.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-District honorable mention his junior year, 2nd Team selection his senior year at Midland HS…led team to 12-0 divisional record in 2005-06…also ran two years of track and played two years of varsity football.
