After a three-year playing career, Thibaut Tagnon joined the UT Dallas staff as a student assistant for the 2024-25 season.
Tagnon played in 48 contests, scoring 211 points and recording 102 assists, 81 rebounds, 3 blocks and 41 steals. He also shot 36.4 percent (72-for-198) from the field and made 31 three-pointers. Tagnon scored in double-digits five times as a Comet.
Excelling in the classroom, Tagnon was a three-time Academic All-American Southwest Conference selection and 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree.
Tagnon was an All-Region player and District MVP for Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas. He led the team to a district title and regional quarterfinals as a senior.
He is pursuing his degree in Finance.
