Jared Fleming played significant minutes—off the bench and as a starter—during all four years of his UT Dallas career. After serving as an understudy to all-conference point guard Temaine Wright, Fleming was UTD's starting floor general in 2009-10, where he was voted to the American Southwest Conference All-East Division Honorable Mention Team.

Fleming triggered a team-high 75 3-pointers in 09-10, and averaged a career-best 11.2 points per game.

2009-10: Averaged 11.2 points, 3.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds as the Comets made their second straight NCAA Div. III "Sweet Sixteen" appearance...recorded a career-high 21 points in a Jan. 18 win at the Ozarks...earned an ASC All-Academic nod for the second year in a row...was tabbed as an ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention selection...shot a team-best 86.8% from the free throw line, where UTD was tops among all other ASC squads...made 75 of 139 attempts from long range.

2008-09: Came off the bench and appeared in all 31 games, averaging 2.8 points…connected on 18 3-pointers, shooting at a .327 clip…awarded Academic All-Conference honors.

2007-08: Appeared in 19 games, including eight starts…averaged 10.7 minutes per contest…scored 2.6 points per game while totaling 28 assists during the regular season.

2006-07: Appeared in 22 games, shooting 11-of-15 (.733) from the free throw line.

HIGH SCHOOL: Fleming comes from a small, 2A high school, but was a two-time district MVP and All-Region player. Was the district Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore, when his team won the first of three district championships. Also was an all-district shortstop a senior and qualified for the regionals as a cross country runner his sophomore year.
