Biography

Wells Adams is a stingy defender who can play a variety of positions, including point guard. The junior, who has a “defense-first” mentality, averaged five minutes of playing time behind Jared Fleming, UT Dallas' starting point guard, in 2009-10. He will complete for the starting gig next year.

2009-10: Played in 24 games, averaging 0.5 points and 0.8 rebounds...dished out 13 assists throughout the season.

2008-09: Appeared in 10 games, logging 24 total minutes throughout the year.

2007-08: Appeared in eight games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played two varsity seasons for Anderson HS (Austin, TX), where he was an All-District Honorable Mention selection and All-Tournament Team honoree at the Victoria Memorial Tournament his senior year…Academic All-District as a senior.
