Lazaris, a promising young goalkeeper, made six appearances in 2009—all in relief of Jake Brandon, UT Dallas’ all-time saves leader. At 6-2, the Houston, TX, native is in prime position to inherit starting duties from Brandon, who graduates in the spring.
