A native of Mexico, Robles is still recuperating from a season-ending injury in 2008. He has played in just five games over the past two seasons, and, fortunately, has one more season of eligibility at UT Dallas.

With great size for a defender—he is listed at 6-3—Robles should be able to compete for a spot in the Comets’ sensational backfield in 2010, coaches say.

2009: Appeared in only five games while still battling injuries.

2008: Missed the entire 2008 season with an injury.

2007: Appeared in 15 games, making eight starts on the Comets’ American Southwest Conference Championship squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Tecnologico de Mexico HS (Toluca, Mexico)…graduated in 2007…also played tennis, basketball and was a member of the swim team.
