Bridgewater, who has “great touch and (the) ability to score,” according to UT Dallas coaches, improved on a respectable freshman season by scoring a pair of goals in 2009. He may see an increase in minutes next season, especially with the departures of forwards Cory Roth and Stephen Ambrose.

2009: Started just one game, but made 17 appearances in UTD’s front line…tallied two goals and one assist…double his shot output from the year before.

2008: As a freshman, made 12 appearances…recorded one assist and took four shots.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons of varsity soccer for Hewitt-Trussville HS (Trussville, AL)…was part of a club team that won the Alabama state championship.
