After starting for a majority of the 2008 season, Vallejo’s minutes dropped in 2009—his final season at UT Dallas. He made just 10 appearances in the Comets’ backfield, where he established himself two seasons ago after transferring from nationally-ranked San Jacinto Junior College.

2009: Played in 10 games, starting in only one.

2008: Made 20 appearances, including 19 starts, in his first season at UTD…credited with four shots.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Was a two-time regional champion with San Jacinto College, a team that advanced to the national “Final Four” in 2007…earned his Associate’s Degree in Business.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-District standout at LaPorte HS (LaPorte, TX), where he captured several team awards…graduated in the top 6 percent of his class and was a Texas Scholar…also ran track and cross country.

MAJOR: Accounting/Finance
