Kevin White

A two-time American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Kevin White was named joined the Comets as a full-time assistant coach prior to the 2013 season.
 
A native of Sugar Land, White spent four years on the playing field for the Comets from 2005-08 and is currently ranked third all-time in both points and goals and 11th in assists. He was a two-time NSCAA first team all-region pick after earning American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors in each of his final two seasons. In 2014, he was inducted into the UTD Athletics Hall of Honors, becoming the seventh men’s soccer student-athlete to be enshrined.
 
White appeared in career 69 games in a Comet uniform, scoring 39 goals with 13 assists. As a junior, White set the Comet single-season record for points (44), scoring 18 goals and adding eight assists. He scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Comets to the 2007 ASC championship.

A 2009 graduate of UTD, White spent four years as a volunteer coach for the Comets, working primarily with goalkeepers and forwards in technical training. He also assisted in the administration of team practice sessions. White also brings experience as an Olympic Development Program Coach for the North Texas Soccer Association since 2009 and as coach of the Aces Soccer Club since 2010. He holds a National "B" License.
