Former Comet standout defender Mason Anderson joined the UT Dallas staff as a volunteer assistant in August 2022.
He was a two-time United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American and a two-time American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He earned All-ASC First Team honors three times. Anderson was also the recipient of the ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor and was the ASC Men's Soccer Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Anderson played in 70 games, netting seven goals and four assists and contributed to 33 shutouts while serving as team captain twice.
A native of Frisco, Texas, he was a First Team All-District, Academic All-State and team Defensive MVP for Centennial High School.
Anderson graduated from UTD in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration.Â
