One of UT Dallas’ most viable offensive threats over the past four seasons, Roth exited the men’s soccer program with 18 career goals—including eight strikes, a team-best, to lead the Comets in 2009.

He turned in a sensational freshman season as UTD’s top scorer in 2006. He made less of an impact the following two seasons, but reemerged as an offensive leader in 2009, alternating between UTD’s midfield and front line. Roth is currently the program’s eighth all-time leader in shots on goal (53), and tenth all-time leader in minutes played (2,627).

2009: Led the Comets with eight goals, four of which were game-winning blasts…one of only five Comets to appear in all of the team’s 19 games…recorded one assist, totaling 17 total points throughout the season…scored two goals in his final collegiate game, a 3-0 win over Concordia (TX) on Oct. 31.

2008: Played in just 11 games, making one start…credited with 12 shots.

2007: Scored three goals and dished out two assists as the Comets cruised to an ASC Championship…appeared in 11 games…earned Academic All-Conference honors.

2006: Rattled off six goals in his freshman season to lead UTD, starting in 13 of the team’s 19 games…tallied one assist.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-District performer at Westside HS (Houston, TX) on a team that twice won district titles…advanced to the regional finals in 2004…was an honor roll student…also played roller hockey for the Maccabiah National Team, winning one state championship.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Palm Beach Community College (Lake Worth, FL) before transferring to UT Dallas.
