With exceptional foot speed and acceleration, Mitchell joined the Comets in 2008 after spending two years at the University of Kentucky, where he played one season of NCAA Division I soccer.

Mitchell was UT Dallas’ third-leading scorer in 2008, but was sidelined due to a season-ending knee injury in 2009. With one year of eligibility left, the Comets hope to bring Mitchell—along with the arsenal of offensive skills he has—back to field in 2010.

2009: Appeared in just four games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

2008: Scored nine goals and collected eight assists in 19 starts…was the team’s third-leading scorer, behind Kevin White and Stephen Ambrose, respectively…sidelined due to illness in the American Southwest Conference Tournament…named the ASC’s Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 30)…earned All-ASC First Team honors.

2003-04: Attended UK for two years, playing for the team during one season.
