Biography

Jonathan Nevit followed his older sister – Ginny (a four-year starter for the UTD women's team) – to UTD in 2008 and earned a spot on the men's squad as freshman. He is an athletic midfielder, coaches say, who will be looking to build on a promising first season. Scored his first collegiate goal on the first shot he took on the field against Austin College, Sept. 16, 2008.

2008: Appeared in just two games for the Comets as a reserve, but scored a goal on just two shots.

HIGH SCHOOL: Nevit was an all-district performer at Austin Bowie HS, leading his team in goals and assists. Team won the 25-5A championship in his senior year.
