Jorge Morales, a transfer from Richland College before the 2009 season, finally found his way onto the field after enrolling late in 2008. The stingy defender started 18 games in UT Dallas’ backfield in 2009, where the Comets allowed just 1.11 goals per game. Morales has one year of eligibility remaining with UTD.

2009: Appeared in 19 games, 18 of which were in a starting role…one of five Comets to make appearances in every game…earned All-American Southwest Conference Honorable Mention as a part of UTD’s solid back line.

2005-06: Helped guide Richland College to a pair of national championships…won All-Conference and All-Regional honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named the team’s Best Defender twice while at Bryan Adams HS (Dallas, TX)…served as team captain in 2003.
