Biography

Kevin White finished up one of the most prominent statistical careers in UTD history in 2008, winning American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2007 and 2008, and setting a number of UTD offensive records. He was twice an ASC All-Conference first-team selection and won first-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) regional honors in each of his final two seasons.

White finished just two goals shy of all-time leading scorer Ali Morshedi with 39 goals (35 in his final two seasons) in his four-year career, and tied Morshedi for the top spot with 18 goals scored in 2007. He added 17 more as a senior in 2008.

2005: White showed a lot of promise as a freshman, playing in the first 10 games of the season before health problems forced him to the sideline. He finished with 1 goal on 6 shots.

2006: Made 16 starts in 17 appearances and scored 3 goals with 1 assist on 28 shots. Finished fourth on the team in scoring.

2007:
Was the American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2007. Set school record with 18 goals in 2007, including 5 game winners. Also assisted on 8 others, tallying 44 points. White earned first-team ASC All-Conference honors and was a first-team NSCAA All-South Region player as well. Earned Player of the Week honors twice in 2007.

2008:
Missed tying the single-season scoring record by just one goal, but still led the team with 17 goals in 21 starts along with 4 assists. Named American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Named to the NSCAA South Central All-Region First Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: White was a three-time all-district performer at Dulles HS, before winning first-team honors as a senior in 2005, when he was also the team MVP. He also won an award in HS for Academic Excellence.
