Returning from a season-ending arm injury in 2009, Adrienne Rathy played 39 games in the outfield for UT Dallas in 2010. She was utilized at the top -- and the bottom -- of the batting order because of her speed on the base paths, and proved to be one of UT Dallas' most consistent all-around players.

Rathy was awarded an academic scholarship to attend UTD after graduating high school Magna Cum Laude. She is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority on campus.

2010: Played and started in 39 games for the Comets...batted .254 while leading the team in triples (2)...totaled 32 hits and 15 RBIs...strung together a season-high four RBIs in UTD's record-breaking 41-1 win over Rust College (MS) on Feb. 27...tripled in wins over Cornell College (IA) and Texas Lutheran.

2009: Went 3-for-8 in her first three games (.375 avg) with a double and a triple before injuring her arm and missing the rest of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won Honorable Mention or Second Team All-District recognition while playing all four years at Sherman HS (Sherman, TX)...also won various coach's awards on a team that reached the playoffs all four years, winning two bi-district titles...ran cross country for two years on a team that qualified for Regionals...played volleyball as a freshman and sophomore
