Former Baylor University pitcher Jenny Fuller was named the Comets' assistant softball coach prior to the 2014-15 academic year and also serves as UTD's head women's cross country coach.
Fuller came to UTD after spending five seasons in a similar position at McLennan Community College. She served as pitching coach at MCC since 2010 and mentored a first team all-conference pitcher in each of her five seasons with the Highlassies, boasting two first team picks in 2014. In 2014, she helped MCC to a conference title as the Highlassies posted a program-best 46-8 record and were ranked in the top 15 in NJCAA Division I all season, climbing to the top spot early in the year.
An Academic Big 12 selection with the Bears as a senior, Fuller earned her bachelor's degree in education from the university in 2009 and later received a master's in sports management from Baylor in 2011. She was twice listed on the Dean's List and was part of the Baylor squad that advanced to the NCAA Division I Super Regionals in 2009. Prior to Baylor, Fuller played two seasons at MCC, collecting NJCAA All-America honors both seasons, earning her associate's degree in 2007.
Fuller later played professionally for the Freising Grizzlies of the German Bundeslegia in 2009 before beginning her coaching career at MCC.
