As a freshman, Brooks amassed more court time (18.7 minutes per game) than any other reserve, but her playing time was cropped in 2009-10 because of an influx of perimeter players. She did, however, appear in all 26 games.

She has the ability to shoot the 3 on offense, and is hard-working defensive player.

2009-10: Played in all 26 games, pouring in 1.0 point per game...shot 85.7% from the free throw line and amassed 12 assists throughout the year.

2008-09: Averaged 3.2 points per game while hauling in 2.0 rebounds per contest…recorded 39 assists and 18 steals…went 26-for-45 (.578) from the free throw line.

HIGH SCHOOL: First Team All-District standout at Lake Travis HS (Austin, TX)…helped lead team to regionals during her senior season…was an Academic All-District honoree in 2007-08, when she won her team’s Defensive MVP award…also ran track, qualifying for the Regional Track Meet as a freshman in 2005.
