Amanda  Kallus has been a key player for the Comets in each of her four seasons at UTD. Worked her way into all 19 games as a freshman, and ended her first year with the Comets scoring 6 goals with 1 assist. Played in all 20 games in 2006, and added 20 more starts in 2007, scoring 1 goal with 2 assists. Was a key member of a Comet defense that gave up just 14 goals in 20 games and posted 14 shutouts last season. Two-time Academic All-ASC team member.

2008: Played in 21 games, had 1 assist. First Team All-ASC Defender. Player of the week 10/6. Academic All Conference

HIGH SCHOOL: Kallus was a member of those multiple TAPPS state championship teams at Ursuline Academy in Dallas. She was also an honor roll student in high school and participated in a number of community service projects.
