George put the finishing touches on her four-year Comet career in 2009, scoring four goals as one of UT Dallas’ captains. She willed the Comets to the American Southwest Conference Tournament with a game-winning goal—scored in the 101st minute of double overtime—against UT Tyler on Oct. 29, and connected on one of UTD’s two goals against Concordia (TX) two days later.

George ended her career with 10 goals and 13 assists as she was twice honored as an All-ASC selection.

2009: Erupted for a career-best four goals, including two game-winners, down the stretch of UTD’s regular season…also dished out one assist…named to the All-ASC Second Team.

2008: Played in 18 games…manufactured two goals, assisting on three others…named to the ASC Academic All-Conference Team…earned a spot as a First Team District 6 member on the prestigious on the 2008 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team.

2007: Appeared in 20 games, scoring three goals…recorded a team-high eight assists…voted to the All-ASC Third Team.

2006: Scored her first collegiate goal…had three assists as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time All-District selection at Coronado HS (Lubbock, TX), earning First Team honors as a senior…led her team to the district finals twice…also ran cross country.

George, who is scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2010, is attending UTD on an Academic Distinction Scholarship.
