Kathleen Francis, who last attended Cedar Valley College (Lancaster, TX), will log her first minutes of collegiate soccer in the fall of 2010. At 6-1, Francis augments UTD's midfield presence with rare mix of physicality and finesse. She will likely fill in to an outside-mid position, but has the capability of playing in the middle or up front.

Was an honor student at Cedar Valley, and received an academic scholarship to UTD.

HIGH SCHOOL: While completing her home-schooling, Francis played five (5) years of club soccer for the Texas Developmental Academy (TDA)...her teams won back-to-back Arlington Division I championships. She earned her HS diploma at 16 and completed an Associate's Degree at Cedar Valley CC, but did not play soccer.
