Babcock played a pivotal role in UT Dallas’ 2009 senior class—one that will be sorely missed next season. She is one of only eight Comets to log over 3,000 career minutes and has catalyzed UTD’s left side for the last four seasons.

Babcock’s departure leaves a gaping void in the Comets’ midfield, which also lost seniors Emily George and Kristina Kinner following the 2009 season. Babcock has repeatedly been voted to the American Southwest Conference’s Academic All-Conference Team.

2009: Failed to score, but contributed one assist…put 11 shots on goal.

2008: Played in all 21 games.

2007: Earned increased minutes, appearing in 19 games…posted a two-goal season for the second straight year.

2006: Scored two goals as a freshman…played in 21 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an Academic All-State selection and won Honorable Mention and Second Team All-District honors at Madison HS (San Antonio, TX)…also was a team captain…was a member of the Academic All-District Team…member of the National Honor Society.
